These dogs were bred in order to have a fast mind and be well placed to retrieve water fowl without biting down and destroying the bird. The Chocolate Labrador as well as its relations the Golden and Black Labradors is well thought to have a soft mouth, and they seem to be an excellent family pet because they’re so light. But they’ve got an envious nature when it comes down to their owners paying to much attention to other pets.
