The puppy is clearly lovable.  However, certain dog behavior problems should be tackled from the beginning.  If alpha dominance is not established by the owner from the beginning, the puppy will grow up with irritating behaviors which will be harder to break as an adult. Training should get started as soon as the new dog arrives at the house. Many potential problems will not even manifest, if they are taken in hand the first few times that they occur. These are very simple answers to many problem behaviors. For example making messes inside is best dealt with early on with puppy house training.

Barking

There are several distinct types of dog behavior problems where individuals will go to an instructor to help them tackle these problems as they manifest. One of these is too much barking. Some dogs just seem to just bark at every little noise.  This could be aimed at a person, another dog or animal, or just because they like to. This barking can become grating to you, and also to other people, especially if the person lives in a condominium. If you want to know how to stop a dog barking then first start with some basic dog training.

Digging

Digging is another dog behavior problem. This can be a difficult thing to stop once it has started and can cause damage and safety issues if it is not dealt with. Digging not only [creates holes in the backyard, but can wreck a flower bed.  Dogs will often dig near the edge of the backyard so that the holes inadvertently go beneath the fence, allowing the dog to escape and the chance of harm to come to the dog.  This digging not only results in holes in the yard, but can ruin your garden.

Food aggression

Dog behavior problem related to food aggression can also manifest if there are multiple pets in the home. Some dogs protect their food from the other animals, snapping at them or chasing them away from their food dish. If there are small children in the house, this is possibly dangerous.

Other dog behavior problems

There is also dog to dog violence that can occur among some dogs, especially in the event of two male dogs that are not neutered. In addition to these violence related issues, there are also dog behavior problems involving a variety of other concerns such as whining, thieving issues, chewing problems, running away and separation anxiety.
